Welcome

Whether you have been in therapy before or this is the first time you are exploring your options, I welcome you. You have taken the step toward mental wellness! It can feel uncomfortable at first, but I am here to tell you there is nothing to be intimidated by when coming to therapy with me.  Helping others to be their authentic self has been my passion for as long as I can remember.

Individual Psychotherapy

What to Expect

In therapy with me, you will learn how to recognize different emotions, access your truth about fears, anxieties, relationships, and awaken your self-awareness. We will work together to set goals and find a path forward that works for your individual needs.  Therapy is not always comfortable, but it is worth it.  Over time, you will learn to be kinder to yourself and find joy in your everyday life.  

My Approach

I believe that therapy is not "one size fits all."  What this means is that above all, I will work hard to create a space where you feel safe to explore the areas in your life you most want to improve. I utilize an eclectic and integrative approach informed by principles from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy in conjunction with a trauma informed, client-centered, and strengths-based focus. I also teach meditation and breathing practices to aid in reduction of stress and anxiety.
